Application for Care Worker skill evaluation test

New candidates who are applying for a Specified Skilled Worker Visa (i) Care Worker should pass ① JLPT N4 or upper　②Nursing care skills evaluation test and　③Nursing care Japanese language evaluation test.

How to apply for Nursing care Skill evaluation test

In order to apply for the skill test, you need to create a Prometric ID first.

How to create a Prometric ID

1. CLick Nursing care skills evaluation test andNursing care Japanese language evaluation test
2. Please select the country: Japan
3. Register for Prometric ID:
   ***A Prometric ID is required to take Nursing care skills evaluation test.
4. Access the Top Page for the Test Registration Site: Click Obtain your Prometric ID
5. Read the guidelines and click Next.
6. The personal information agreement will be displayed. If you agree, click Agree.
7. Enter your e-mail address, then click Next.
   →If the e-mail address is correct as displayed, click Next.
8. Enter and confirm your Password and click Next.
9. Enter your personal information for the exam and click Next to confirm again.
10. If the page below is displayed, the registration for Prometric ID is completed.
    Click Back to go back to the top page of the test registration site.

***Your Prometric ID, password, and name (first name + last name) is required to log into the test registration site. Please do not forget the details registered.

How to apply for a test reservation

***Application can be done during application period on the Website.

1. Access the top page for the test registration site and click Login.
2. Enter the information required for login and click Login.
3. Click on Reserve test to reserve a test.
4. The test terms and conditions will be displayed. If you agree, click Accept.
   →The reservation guidelines will be displayed. Read the guidelines and click OK.
   →The registered user information will be displayed. Check to confirm there are no mistakes.
   If everything is correct, click Continue.
   To make a correction, click Change your personal Information to go to the Change Personal Information screen.
   →The test regulations will be displayed. If you agree with the rules, click Agree and continue.
5. Select Test from the list（you can choose the language you prefer for the test) and click Next.
   →Enter your answers to the question items and click Next.
6. Select your desired test date from the Test Date box and click Search.
7. The test center information for the selected test date will be displayed.Click on the test time of your desired test center.
   ***Information of test center in other countries will also be displayed. Please be careful and select the correct test center.
8. Upload a headshot photo of yourself for identity verification purpose.
   Click Select file and select your headshot photo that meets the acceptable photo specifications.
9. The test fee will be displayed. Confirm the amount and select a payment method.
   ***Payment can be made by credit card or by voucher.
10. The reservation details will be displayed. If there are no issues, enter an emergency contact phone number and click Next.
    →Enter your credit card information and click Next.
    →If the information entered is correct as displayed, click Pay
11. Confirmation Letter will be displayed when the reservation is completed.
    Next, please check your e-mail inbox, a test reservation confirmation notice e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address.
12. Please check if all the information written on the confirmation letter is correct.
